Ep 183: Celebrating Your Losses

In this special episode of Game Changers, you go 1-on-1 with Michael LeJeune to talk about Celebrating Your Losses. When most companies lose an RFP, a top employee, or suffer some other loss, the tendency is to grieve at some level and then just move on. Celebrating your losses helps to create a culture of learning. The next time you lose an RFP, you should get a debrief from the government and then perform your own debrief internally. Identify your mistakes, correct them, and then apply that to your proposal process moving forward. Then celebrate what you learned from that experience.

Ep 182: How to Hire and Retain Great People

In this special episode of Game Changers, you go 1-on-1 with Michael LeJeune to talk about How to Hire and Retain Great People. It’s my personal belief that this is going to be a challenge for the foreseeable future. The employment market was already getting tight before COVID. After COVID, people changed their perspectives and priorities. Employers need to do the same in order to attract the best of the best and to keep them.

Ep 177: An Attitude for GovCon Success

In this episode, we talked with Leigh Christian about An Attitude for GovCon Success. If you ask any successful business owner about the keys to their success, almost every single one will say that success begins with the way you think. The way you think often manifests in your actions and your attitude. Do you treat yourself with respect? Do believe that your company deserves to win? If you don’t win, do you look for a lesson that will make you better next time or do you look to blame others? Are you grateful for what you have or do you struggle with always being unhappy with what you don’t have? These are all simple things that make a big difference in how others see you and your company.
